Client - Overseas Pharmaceutical Aid for life
Objective - Develop professional presentation materials that will
enable OPAL to secure support from the business sector, government and
Pharmaceutical Industry.
Problem - OPAL, as a tightly run philanthropic organisation, would not
have the financial resources to develop professional presentation materials.
Strategy - Work with CEO to secure sponsorship to develop the
materials, develop a brand positioning for OPAL, then develop and produce
materials consistent with the brand positioning.
Creative Solution - Whereas 'pulling at heart strings' works extremely
well in advertising to the public to dig deep for donations a different strategy
is required to secure support from business. OPAL's communcation material needed
to demonstrate their prudence in expenditure but also their business like
fashion in managing their resourcrs. They needed to be seen as successful,
worthy to receive support but also needing the support. Materials were
created on recycled 'cardboard stock' and focused on a little girl who had
benefited from OPAL's life saving work.
Disciplines employed - Corporate ID, graphic design, copywriting,
public relations campaigns, development of Powerpoint presentation, web
development (see opal.org.au) and printing.
